I think he would beat the brakes off Sylvester actually... as improbable as that sounds...

Sylvester is so inactive, and doesn't even really hit particularly hard in my estimation.

Stieglitz is pretty rugged though... that would be a tall order.

No. 168 pounds is the limit... at the weigh in. Bute would come into the fight at his healthy weight between 175-180 pounds. Whereas Pacquiao would be a bloated 160, TOPS during the weight in and would be slower. The move up would also take the power out of his punchers for the most part as well.

Pacquiao has speed and pop in his punches. He'd lose those two weapons. Though his defense has gotten better, as has his overall skills, he's not a good enough BOXER to stick and move and would eventually get caught, and stopped.

Marquez rocked him, Cotto buzzed him a few times. Bute could really damage him. Bute, also, isn't a bad puncher/fighter, either. Never going to happen and it never should.

henry armstrong is 5'5 & we all know that he won 126,135, & 147. What people dont know is that armstrong went up to 160 to fight ceferino garcia & by a lot of media accounts was robbed of a win.

sam langford was 5'6 tall fighting heavyweights.

dwight qawi was a 5'6 tall hall of fame lightheavy/heavyweight.

georges carpentier started from flyweight & ended up fighting at lightheavy/heavyweight.

People need to learn their boxing history because what pac is doing IS NOTHING NEW. ITS BEEN DONE BEFORE.

If felix strum couldnt take out a fat lazy oscar de la hoya, stands to reason pac can outpoint him at 160.

I hope he does, so people can finally see how useless belts are, but 168 is too much. 160, very possible.

                No doubt.

Sturm only fights fighters that are not in TOP 300.
