I only have one friend who watches boxing, so that's the only time I get to talk about it. We like the same fighters though so I never get to talk boxing with an opposing fan base. As far as the ridiculous **** talking and childish name calling, that doesn't happen often in real life unless you are talking to a kid or a complete loser. Its bad enough to do it on the internet if you are over the age of 12, so if the people who talk like that in here do it in real life that's sad.
Do you guys often have boxing discussions in real life?

All my friends are huge MMA fans and don't know jack about Boxing other than Ali and Tyson. Only time I get to really talk about Boxing is on here or answering a question on Yahoo Answers.Comment

i have them all the time with friends and co-workers, but the only thing is, no one is into boxing like me or is even close to being somewhat knowledgeable enough to have a real discussion and i tend to dominate the convo. basically because i can go more into depth about fights and match making, etc.
i come here to chat it up or argue because there are people here who share my enthusiasm of boxing........ others are just plain *****'s here too though, and they know who they are............ don't ya *****'s.......Comment

Yeah, but most of my friends are casual boxing fans. Most of the people I know like MMA, but friends I end up getting close with end up becoming boxing fans, lol. I know only a few hardcore fight fans. I have discussions, but never as serious as gets on this site.
A lot of my friends are *******s of all races, not just Filipinos. It's kind of my fault since a lot of my friends got into boxing because of me and Pac is my favorite boxer. So my friends get hyped for his fights.
A Pacquiao fight plus good friends, beer, pizza, and good smoke sounds like a fun to me.Comment
