This garbage should not be on a televised portion of a big PPV.

I would rather have 2 top 10 contenders fighting in a competitive matchup (Escalante-De Leon) than a top 5 fighter in these types of trash one sided fights.

Casual fans won't support or even remember Pavlik because he destroyed a bum in a non fight. They'll remember him if he's in a competitive McKart, Zertuche, or Taylor type fight.

I was under the impression Pavlik would be in with a tough opponent. Guess not. Is it that expensive to get someone decent? It can't be. It's not like Pavlik doesn't have it. he just can't beat quicker boxers. What is beating a nobody going to prove? I haven't even seen Edouard since Taylor took him out before the Hopkins fight. At least it will be entertaining I guess.

I will say this

while I do think the scheduling of a fight days after you pull out of another with an injury is at best shaky we did have to send him 15 pairs of gloves so he could rotate them out for fear of making the infection worse
