I finally believe that women just dont have it in their DNA like we do when it comes to taking **** from people.

Early one winter morning, Josie Harris downed shots of alcohol and half of an Ecstasy tablet at a nightclub, then stepped into Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s luxurious black Bentley.

The stunning model repeatedly asked the boxing world champion -- the father of her three children -- why he had shunned her for another woman. Mayweather ignored the questions, flashed his trademark smile and turned up the radio.

"I was basically trying to fight him. I was pulling on him and punching on him, and telling him that he was wrong and shouldn't have left me like that with those three babies," Harris testified Thursday in Clark County District Court at Mayweather's domestic violence trial.

"I just kicked the windshield like it was the other girl's face. That's when he pulled me by my hands out of the car."

Harris accepted all the blame for the Dec. 27, 2003, conflict, which she testified unfolded after she partied with friends and consumed Ecstasy, an illicit stimulant.

She portrayed herself as a scorned and inebriated woman who called police to the nightclub so she would have the upperhand if Mayweather pursued criminal charges against her for her outburst. The 25-year-old woman often giggled while testifying she lied when she told authorities that Mayweather had beaten her. Harris' retraction dealt a serious blow to prosecutors and cost them their star witness.
Deputy District Attorney Alexandra Chrysanthis asked Harris whether Mayweather "laid a hand on her" during the incident.

"No, not at all," responded Harris, who later referred to Mayweather as "a teddy bear."

"I know that no matter what I did that he would never put his hands on me."

Mayweather, 28, faces a felony battery charge in connection with the 2003 incident. In 2002, the Las Vegas resident pleaded guilty to two counts of domestic violence. In June, he was convicted in the unprovoked beating of two women in the Ra nightclub and received a suspended one-year jail sentence and an order to undergo counseling.

Mayweather, dressed in a pink shirt and pinstriped suit, stared straight ahead throughout most of the testimony and occasionally massaged his temple and neck. Harris cast the fighter as a loving father who met her on the night of the incident to pay child support.

Richard Wright, Mayweather's attorney, told jurors he will produce a witness who saw the incident and testify that Mayweather never struck Harris, pulled her hair or kicked her, as alleged. Wright said Mayweather did pull Harris from the car because she was irate, attacked him and refused to leave.

Chrysanthis introduced photos showing a bruise on Harris' eye and a mark on her forehead. Harris testified that she injured her forehead days before the incident and might have hurt her eye when Mayweather dragged her from the car.

The trial is scheduled to resume today.

you do know josie harris used to be a las vegas stripper who got pimped out right?

No I haven't. But ESPN just posted this in the Boxing page:

Floyd Mayweather Jr. sought in Case

LAS VEGAS -- Las Vegas police say they're seeking boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. for questioning about a domestic battery complaint by his ex-girlfriend.

Officer Barbara Morgan says detectives want to get Mayweather's account of what happened before deciding whether he will face a criminal battery domestic violence charge.

Morgan says the 33-year-old Mayweather wasn't at a southwest Las Vegas house when officers responded to the woman's complaint a little after 5 a.m. Thursday.

Morgan says the woman alleges Mayweather hit her during an argument. Morgan didn't identify the woman by name.

Officer Bill Cassell says the woman was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries that were not described as serious.
