Clottey already said he didnt throw many punches because Pac would have knocked him out. lol. You dont get many boxers who are as honest as that. Most boxers would use the excuse i wasnt myself or had a bad night. But no! Clottey deserves praise for his honesty.

Shows how great Pac is. Who has ever made Clottey have to resort to fighting like a turtle trying to keep in his shell because an eagle spotted him, for 12 rounds? Again, no one. Pac is setting precedents for performances each fight.
    Special....the chosen one.

The real reason why he didn't open up was because he was afraid of getting KO. He landed the uppercut on Pac every time he threw the uppercut.

It really was only a matter of time before someone's Bscene name was Poochiao..

That straight to the body is delicious! Clottey could certainly have imposed himself better on Pacquaio but his style is too passive and he wasn't fast enough to unsettle Pacquiao. The speed difference was too vast so Clottey was scared of being hit whilst opening up.

A big part of it is was the style match-up, although I can't think of anything other than a psychological reason that Clottey threw as little as he did.

it was mainly Pac's co-promoter- Oscar DelaHoya that Paid him.

oscar had tens of millions to "burn".
Oscar paid off Mayweather's 25 Million dollar IRS debt, in exchange to co-promote him to fight JMM, and a $200 Million dollar mega-fight with Pac in the future.

Oscar BRIBED Clottey to let Pac "win" so that Oscar can continue to co-promote Pac to future fights and "milk in" asian $$$$$ from all over the world.

DelaHoya-Pacquiao was FIXED cause Oscar co-promotes Pac, through Arum as part of a lawsuit settlement agreement. Thats why Arum takes 30% of Pac's purse, so that he spilts it with Oscar.
Oscar is too big strong for the steroid juicer-Pac. An Oscar win over Pac, makes Pac's stock drop drastically. A Pac win over Oscar, has both of them winning cause Oscar will continue to "milk" Pac's career and "milk in" Asian $$$$$ from all over the world.
Oscar had been in there with much bigger stronger punchers like Hopkins, Vargs, Quartey, Felix sturm, Tito, etc.
There was nothing that Pac could do to Oscar, that Oscar had not seen.

Pacquiao-Clottey was FIXED cause Oscar BRIBED Clottey with an extra bonus, under the table.
Clottey has traded with big bombers like Margarito, Judah, Cotto. But with Pac, Clottey played "gun-shy".
Clottey came up with different excuses that didn't make sense.
1.) right after the Saturday night fight, in post-fight interview, Clottey said he was being "overly cautious" of Pac's fast punches (..yeah right)
2.) 2 days later, the following monday, Clottey comes up with a different excuse......that his back "hurt".
3.) 1 week later, Clottey said he had "stomach cramps".
4.) 2 months later, Clottey said he was not himself that night.

all lame excuses that just dont add up.

Pacquiao-Margarito will be a FIXED FIGHT, cause Oscar BRIBED Margarito with an extra bonus, under the table, and a guarantee to Margarito that he'll be licenced in Las Vegas, Nevada and California year after year.
After, all it was Oscar that had "say" in Texas early this year, for denying Margarito's license application.
Oscar, technically, runs the California Boxing Commission, behind the scenes, right now.
The Cali commission has been re-organized with new members, cause the past ones were fired by Arnold, at GBP's insistence, due to the Margarito-Mosley scandal, where Mosley was able to get a way with illegal/banned-EPO usage, and Margarito was scapegoated.
