Haye does seem sturdier now he has moved up weight. He always seems to get to his oppoents before they can get to him.
Which shows he probably has more ability!
People go on about Haye's chin, cos he gassed himself out against Carl Thompson when he was a ****y up and comer. Yes he went down against Mormeck, but he got up and KO'd the guy. Any HW can get KO'd by a big puncher, that doesn't make them chinny.

So far he has fought two Heavyweights who were ranked outside the top 20 in the world (one of whom nevertheless managed to knock him down, and the other of whom was able to land his jab almost at will and bust up his face); and has fought one fighter who was ranked #6 in the world at the time by The Ring, and who does not have a big punch. This year, he turned down a 50/50 purse deal with no rematch clauses with the #1 fighter in his division, in order to fight someone ranked #42 in the world by boxrec (and even that ranking flatters him). So your post is delusional.

Mormeck is not a big puncher. Nor was Barrett. The fact is that Haye is unwilling to test himself against any top heavyweight who can punch. And the stamina problems that caused him to lose to Thompson re-surfaced against Ruiz, but the old man was too decrepit to fully take advantage, although he busted up Haye's face.

I agree, but I think its because he got stopped a couple of times aswell in the amateurs, one of them being quite a brutal ko, also on his way up he hit the deck a couple more times other than the ones you mentioned, some people just natrually take a better punch than others, the fact is haye will probably get knocked out at some point when he takes a good punch!
I am of the opinion that we will never find out if Haye can truly take the punch of a world class heavyweight ****er. And if I could make a prediction. After Harrison I can possibly see a Tyson in Hayes future and it will not be the short one.
You have to remember that Evander Holyfield was considered a great cruiserweight chamption who would never beat a great heavyweight or take a heavyweight punch. Now anyone who knows there boxing history knows Holyfield may get rocked, but he always came back strong. We haven't seen Haye pushed to that limit yet so everything still is a question mark regarding him when facing adversity....
