The full quote was (paraphrased), "This will like getting ganged ****d by a bunch of silverback gorillas." I've emailed the London zoo and they said that there is no evidence that gangs of apes are roaming London, raping as they go. Nor was there anything in the film Gorillas In The Mist to support this view. Though the line, "Silverback N***** eat their oat meal raw," from the song Silverbacks does have sexual connotations.

Basically the UK tabloids have slashed the quote, removing the part that makes it clear that it was a joke remark, however badly judged, and tried to do their usual 'boxing in the gutter' story as they've nothing else to report on save for celebrity gossip and 'broken Britain'.

As Mike says, there is no need for an apology from Haye. Sure, London has had problems with the gang **** issue but I'm not sure that Haye was making a metaphorical comment on the situation in the streets, he was just trash talking ahead of a fight. File under Mike Tyson 'I'll eff you until you love me' and Floyd's claims that he was going to make an opponent his 'prison b*tch', odd given that Floyd has never done time. Misjudged? Maybe. Misrepresented in order to portray the sport in a bad light? Certainly.

Haye isn't forcing **** spokes people to relive their traumatic experiences, the media are dragging them down this dark alley of remembrance and are doing it solely to shift papers.
