but he's not. he's invented his own gimmick form of testing that is not in the least bit credible to convince ignorant people he's cleaning up the sport. he's not doing usada testing. if he was serious about usada testing and cleaning up the sport he would be doing it year round not just in a 2 month window but he's not which is very su****ious.

Mayweather has been in plenty of entertaining fights:

      - Hernandez
      - Corrales
      - Ndou
      - Corley
      - Gatti
      - Judah
      - Hatton
      - SSM

All of these fights were HIGHLY entertaining for various reasons.

Now to answer your original question.

Why am i a fan of Floyd Mayweather??

      - His technical abilities. Most fighters today are great offensively, but how many have an even "servicable" defence?? Practically none. Defensive wizardry in boxing is becoming a lost artform. Most of today's guys wouldn't stand a chance against many of their predecessors because they have **** defence.

      - His dominance has been challenged only once in a long career and he gave that fighter an immediate rematch. Most fighters don't do that. Think Manny and JMM. How long before JMM got his rematch?? With that exception he has dominated every fighter he has fought. In my estimation not one fighter with the exception of Castillo has taken more than 4 or 5 rds. ---> and don't bring up the ODLH fight, it wasn't close.

      - He speaks his mind and has built his persona and superstar status virtually on his own. He told Bob Arum to go *** himself. He doesn't speak like a humble man when his actions contradict his words. He is big headed, narcassistic, ****y and has an inflated ego......a trait all top boxers share......i like the fact that he doesn't hide it and will gladly tell you how good he thinks he is. He will tell you it's all about the money (it is for every boxer), when other fighters will lie and talk **** and say it's not.

      - He always performs. People **** on his record, but it's pretty difficult to go through those fighters undefeated. He dominated them. Even when he has an off night he finds a way to win or snaps out of it. Recent events with an elite fighter like Dawson should tell you how difficult it can be to continually perform at such a high level and "get yourself up" for every fight and never have an off night.

      - Through his actions he told the WBA he wouldn't wipe his ass with their belt. Something other fighters in his position (Pac) should be doing....instead of fighting for a vacated belt in a weight class you have never fought in @ a catchweight, against an undeserving opponent.

      - He has bought the PED issue to the forefront of boxing. I don't care what his intentions where. The result was a positive and what he wants to do is a positive for the sport (despite the negative things he also does).......what the other guy wants isn't.

AND BOTTOM LINE-----------> the sport is just more interesting with floyd around. He generates controversy and puts boxing in the mainstream in the USA (the most important boxing market).
Maan you couldn`t have said it better i totally agree with everything u said, hate him or love him floyd is great for boxing, could u imagine boxing today without floyd, i wonder if espn would still have a boxing column lol, inside the ring, if u r a true boxing fan, there`s no better fighter to watch that floyd. he`s so fundamentally sound it blows my mind, even when u watch floyd in slow motion, everything from his foot spacing, the load up to when the punch lands is so pure it`s like a demo, floyd never throws a hail mary, every thing he does is coz he wanted to do jus that, even his ring smarts, how he adjusts to every individual fighter, its like the guy has a boxing encyclopedia in his head, to me he may not be the greatest of all time but believe me when i tell u, floyd is the purest boxer i`ve ever seen in my life and that`s why i`m a fan of floyd

Hater..... It's USADA "style" so why would he be doing it all year? Style meaning "like" Meaning, Randome, meaning "Random blood and urine.." Stop trying to make it a gimmick like you say... Just because Manny balked at it, Freddy agreed, then found out what it was and also balked at it.. Your hater azz parrots whatever they shyt out, dummy.

I appreciate the heart and tenacity and legendary skill.

Just heart can get tiresome to watch. Just tenacity can be painful to watch if someone just keeps using their face as a catchers mitt for punches... but watching all that in combination with legendary skill is a sight to behold. I don't know how people can sit and say Floyd isn't fun to watch perform his art. Whatever..y'all don't have an eye for subtlety then... or are letting your dislike of his personality color your honest assessment of his fighting abilities.

$40 million on the table and instead he chooses to go "on vacation".

If he really believes he can whoop Pac, he would've already agreed to fight.

                  Simple as that.

Im a fan because Floyds ability to control an opponet is amazing he is such a ring general that he shuts everybody down to their lowest punch stats of their careers , he owns fighters and dominates them with brilliance and brains thats pure magic of its own kind . .

You're right. It's the subtle things that most posters on this site can't even see that make Floyd so enjoyable to watch.
