Why can't they just get this fight done? Maidana is his mandatory....somebody threaten to strip Khan if he does accept a deal. Take a little less of the cut and more of the tv revenue, especially the Sky TV or whatever airs in England.

Khan would make more than $1M regardless of what HBO is offering.

Why? Because he has UK money coming in, especially if he fights on PPV. And that's not even counting the attendance.

**** HBO would still give a license fee of around $1.8M if the fight was live in the UK, where he'd get an even better gate and PPV #s.

Stop b!tching about money, give Maidana 700-800K and make the fight.

if the fight is in michigan, then maidana has to take less than $1 mill. if the fight is in the UK, in khan's backyard, then $1 million sounds about right.

Khan is insisting on it being in the UK which makes for less money to split between the two, however it doesn't matter to Khan because he is gonna get the same amount either way, only Maidana will make less money by going to the UK.

So don't get it twisted. The main reason Khan wants this fight in the UK is because it will allow him to make an even ****tier offer to Maidana. The fact that'd he'd fight in front of his own fans is secondary, especially considering he will run all night and disappoint them.
