I actually agree with this thread. If not one of them, at least fight Angulo. Cotto has made good paydays fighting the tune ups he's fought. So fighting the best shouldn't be a problem. He's got a world title doesn't he? So why don't you guys demand that he fight the best? Instead of giving us this bullshit, oh he's fought the best Welters of this era.

Uuuuh, yeah somewhat I guess. If you want to include the bums he's fought sandwiched in between top five fighters. He's never went after the #1 ranked guy in any division though to try to gain a legitimate championship. So how you can you say he's fought the best when you really look at it. And two easy fights in a row is suspect.

Cotto has never backed down, hes fought whoever theyve put infront of him. Mosley, Margarito, Pacquiao, its not cotto'sfault that he aitn fough mayweather

Branco and Malinaggi. And a couple of other instances after he won a title. But what I meant was if he fought Foreman and Chavez Jr. that would be 2 b-level guys in a row when he has a title in a deep division. You don't see something wrong with that?

No not really because Malignaggi and Foreman arent bums just guys who have a style suited for a fighter like Cotto. When you fight guys like Mosley,Judah,Clottey,Margarito,Pac a tune up or stay busy fight in between shouldnt be criticized like a fighter who constantly fights guys who have no chance at winning.
