          Pac is a great fighter..

And this whole 7 weight classes thing.. they have so many titles now compared to the good old days.. heck they invented some titles just for Pac.. I don't think that stands up to the test of time. Its.....inflated somehow. Also Pac can take advantage of recent advancement in nutritional and training science and techniques that simply weren't available in the older eras.

its a good point.. He did come from a poor environment. But to get where he is now, he needed world class nutrition and training.

I'm not saying Pac isn't one of the best of our era. He is. My sticking point is when people put him above ATG's like SRR and Ali off the strength of this multiple weight class/titles argument..

When people say that, he is in fact being overrated.

I had Pac rated higher than Floyd until Floyd fought SSM. I know people say SSM was old..shot, ect. But I really do give Floyd alot of credit for that fight.. But Pac is right up there with Floyd

So are these nutritional, science training and new techniques already available when Pac started Pro Boxing at the age of 16? A poor starving kid sleeping at cardbox in the streets of Manila doing the advanced nutrition, science training and techniques? WTF!

No, thats not what I was saying. When he was a starving kid, he was malnourished and below his natural weight.. then he gradually started to fill out as he went.. but everything 140+ and even to a lesser extent the 130's was thanks largely in part to advances in nutrition and training science that he took advantage of. Resources that weren't available to fighters of bygone eras.

Pac did much much better to their common opponents Oscar and Hatton. Pac beat Cotto who beat the much younger version of Mosley not the grandpa version fought by Floyd. Plus Floyd accomplishments were subpar compared to Pac.

Oscar and Hatton were...."fresher" against Floyd. How much fresher really is up for debate.

                      and Triangle theories? really?

Well Cotto beat Mosley but got destroyed by Margarito..but Marg got decapitated by Mosley.

There's a triangle theory for u.. exed out
