NEW YORK –- Current English heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (11-0, 9 KOs) is eagerly anticipating his SHOWTIME® debut when he takes on unbeaten southpaw Rich “Super” Power (12-0, 9 KOs) in what is sure to be an exciting night of fights from London’s York Hall on ShoBox: The New Generation this Friday, Sept. 10, on SHOWTIME® at 11 p.m. ET/PT (same day delay). Rich Power is terrible, he is a local heavyweight here in Michigan and I have seen him fight quite a few times.
His opposition has always been terrible, usually guys who are 40 years old, fat and have a terrible record, I'm actually really surprised he took this fight.
Chances are he was over in Europe with the other fighters from the Kronk Gym who join the Klitschko camp and he was offered this chance on short notice and couldn't turn it down.
Power is one of those guys who looks like they spend way more time lifting weights than training for a fight. Fury should be able to get by on a jab alone. -
Promoting Fury right now must be interesting, his earning potential is huge. Gotta think he's 10 fights away from any real shot. Don't let Rich Powers record fool you any 12-0 American heavy nobodys heard of, isn't much. About right for Fury at this point.Comment

Is tyson fury really good enough to warrant so many articles about him? Because from what little I have seen of him, he is a tomato can bum. Has he improved greatly recently or am I missing something?Comment

you're missing the fact his name is Tyson Fury, and he's funny. and now he's fighting a guy called "super" Power.
Sells itself really.Comment

he does have some boxing ability and he towers over most of his opposition. still, its early in his career, i just hope this friday he can show us a little something to get us excited. otherwise i think Seth Mitchell should be the heavy getting the attention.Comment
