Floyd makes great publicty to sell a fight, which is what it is, and trash talking is OK, but he doesn't sell well as a public figure that would boost sales for a company.

          Facebook of AT&T.

AT&T SAID: Hi Em, we know there’s been a lot of buzz about the Floyd Mayweather Jr. Video that surfaced this weekend. We want to let you know that AT&T does not sponsor Mr MayweATHER. We have sponsored several boxing matches, including some Mr Mayweather fought in, but AT&T does not sponsor Mr. Mayweather personally.

Kinda figured this. If Floyd were AT&T's figurehead (or something close to), I'm sure we would've seen more ads with him featured.

AT&T sure were to quick to say, "Ummmm yea we don't sponsor him...BTW how's your iPhone?"

Thansk! your other post is good. Companies will sponsor his fights because they get a great return on their investment. Companies are reluctant to use him as a pitchman for their products because he is prone to do anything to sell his fights, including the video and the outrageous stuff on 24/7.

Michael Phelps smokes trees and he's still endorsed by Subway, Mazda, and Under Armour. Go figure, right?
