you do realize the purses are generally set before the fight? some fighters make deals for a percentage of the ppv money after a certain number of buys. ppv numbers doesn't necessarily reflect what a fighter makes. fighters purses generally depend on how marketable the fight is.

basically that extra 400k buys is meaningless if the ppv upside didn't kick in until 800k or something more than what was sold. it all depends what his agreement with arum was. i wouldn't be surprised if floyd took home more money cuz he's got less hands in it...but i'd say pac probably made more.
