Lol, u guys r just stuck on that second round. Just like how u guys were stuck on the first Castillo fight, and how u were stuck on the one big punch by Corley, and the first 4 rounds of Judah. But what do all those fights have in common? Floyd won them all.
Let's look at the main point here, Mosley hit Floyd becuz he set it up in a way Pacquiao doesn't know how to do.
Corley landed that one punch becuz Floyd got a little careless and confident which he wouldn't against Pacquiao.
Judah is a slick southpaw that COUNTERED Floyd. Pacquiao is by no means a slick counter puncher.
And the Castillo fight just depends on whether or not u were rooting for Castillo, becuz I watched that fight numerous times, and Floyd won on my cards every time

If Manny is able to win it is because he was able to maintain his range, which is where he can be most effective, if he gets to far in or to far out against Floyd he will most likely end up boned but if he is good enough to win it has to take place at his range, I fail to see how that characteristic makes him a good bet against Floyd asFloyd has a very good grasp of not letting a guy maintain their best fighting range but that is still his best bet.

We'll see.
Mosley is a tall, crap head movement and slow feet old fighter who can't counter with quick left hooks or straight rights (he always looped his hooks and straights). Manny is smaller and bends down with good head movement, best footspeed in boxing today and can counter insanely fast.
Floyd will look good until he gets knocked out.

I do agree that if the fight were to happen when these guys are still relevant that if Pac hurts Mayweather the way Mosley did, he'd finish him...but IF it happens it'd still be a damn tough call in my book. Pac and Molsey are two fairly different boxers, Mayweather isn't onna fight Pac like he did Mosley.

Add to that Mosley's weak ass jab and the fact he always gets anxious in big fights. Mosley has never been known to throw that many punches anyway, Pacquiao's stamina on the other hand can not be questioned.
He will be a human fireball in the ring with Mayweather for the whole 12 rounds, you can't play with fire and I think Floyd will eventually get caught.

Its unreal that he didnt want to finish him and he had 1 minute left.
Floyd was out, even 1 more jab would put him down.Last edited by cashdon; 09-07-2010, 06:07 PM.

Let's think about this logically from Shane's shoes. How much money would somebody have to pay you for you to lose a fight where you are nearing the end of your career where you are trying to maximize the amount of money you can earn before you hang them up. If Shane was to have won that fight he could have easily TRIPLED what he got for the first Mayweather fight in either a rematch with Floyd and/or a superfight with Pacquiao. Think also about what it could have done to further enhance his legacy to have beaten one of his eras best fighters CLEAN (after undergoing Olympic style blood testing) nobody would have been able to question his fighting ability anymore. Add to that with a seemingly messy divorce on tap Shane had ALL the incentive to beat Floyd that night. For anyone to think that Shane and anyone in his camp (you think Brother Nasim was in the bag too?) allowed him to be outclassed in such a manner willingly with his son ringside borders on sheer ******ity to me.
Shane was desperate for payday and only way he can get a fight if he is not allowed to throw punches.
BOxing fans can see it that he was paid to not throw punches
