Comments Thread For: Sam Peter's Trainer: We Will Stop Klitschko in Six Rounds

Abel Sanchez, the experienced trainer of former heavyweight champion Samuel Peter, is predicting a quick knockout win over WBO/IBO/IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko on Saturday in Germany. Peter meets Klitschko for the second time. Five years ago Peter lost a unanimous decision but knocked Klitschko down three times in the fight.

How now, I immediately thought of this topic when I read the title.

We'll see if that prediction goes as well for Peter as it did for Vitali.

i'd like to see few straight shots on Wlad's chin, to see if he still gets lost. if Peter really want this title back, he can put on a good show

I think Sam Peter is a pretty good fighter, but I dont see him having much of a chance. 3rd time wont be a charm fighting a Klitschko.

Fact is he got away with a lot of crap against Wlad during the first fight, he didnt win a round that he wasnt allowed to rabbit punch and I think wlad is so much better with distance now that Peter wont get close that chin.

Peter and his trainer have to say they will win, they know they cant beat Wlad via UD or something, you wont hear that nonsense, their only chance is that Peter catches Wlad with something nasty early, Wlad gets hurt and reverts back to 2004 Wlad that cowered when hurt instead of sticking to his gameplan and using his jab to protect him.

Peter is still young, bad management move for him to take this fight if you ask me. He should have been targeting Arreola, Adamek, or Haye...I dont see him having a chance with Wlad or Vitali right now. Beat one of those guys, fight some bums wait 2 years for Vitali to be gone, fight for his belts or get in the ring with Haye, he could become a pretty wealthy guy. Fighting Wlad right now...Its like being able to take a job that pays 100k a year, or deciding you want to invest all your money in the lottery. Sure you CAN win the lotto, but its not likely. Itll pay more if you do win it though.

Dont like his chances, in fact I think some weight loss might actually hurt him against Wlad. He has poor head movement no matter what, he needs the weight to put more power behind a big shot and to take Wlad's jabs.
