LONDON - It’s virtually an unwritten rule in boxing that a hyped heavyweight prospect gets to avoid tough fights in order to build up his record, step forward Tyson Fury to shatter that myth. In just his 12th pro fight, British 6ft 9in Heavyweight sensation Tyson Fury (11-0, 9 KO’s), of Manchester / Galway, will make his US television debut on “ShoBox: The New Generation” in one of the stiffest tests any prospect could hope to face in 6ft 4in American Rich “Super” Power (12-0-0, 9 KO’s) at York Hall on Friday, September 10th.

i saw Power fight some army guy who was brought in as a last minute replacement. I think it was him anyway, he had a corny name like super power. He wasnt very good, so it should be an even match up!

The article states that Fury has one of the best jabs in the division

I don't know anything about his opponent. Going by boxrec his opposition has been very weak.

It should be a good fight though, two big aggressive guys going at it until one of them gets knocked out.

I think thats an over statement too about his jab, its blatantly second best to Audley Harrisons jab. But it will be nice to see how Tyson fights against someone who isnt a dwarf.

he was on some random channel at ****** oclock in the morning about 6 months ago i think. He had to fight some army guy as the other guy *****ed out when he saw power at the weigh in. The army guy had never fought as a pro before. Power looked like **** (the ref stopped it with the other guy on his feet, Power was swinging away at him but missing most shots) but Hearns (I think) was commenting on it and along with the other commontators they were bigging this guy up something serious.

I think Tyson Fury's mum must have written that article. He's proven absolutely nothing so far.
