Where's Noel Edmunds' pink spotted lackey when you need him? Oh wait, I've just remembered I've put him on ignore.

Funny how Sprott was whooping Harrison's ass from pillar to post until literally one lucky punch with less than 60 seconds to go.

Apparently, that's all you need to do to be able to receive a title shot nowadays.

            • "I'm going to clean up the Heavyweight division"
            • "I'm going to be the most exciting thing in boxing since a prime Tyson"
            • "The Klitschko's fight nobody's, I'll knock them both out"
            • "I'm going to make Heavyweight boxing exciting again."
            • "I'll never fight Audley Harrison"

These are paraphrased quotes but I put them here to show just how inconsistent Haye is. In most cases he blatantly lies or at the very least tries to spin something he says so that it sounds legit.

David Haye is an absolute joke. Haye's acting as if this is a necessary "stay busy" type of fight but there are other more qualified and deserving opponents that he could have selected. What about Adamek, hell I would have even preferred Arreola over Harrison.. I'm sorry but Harrison is one of the least deserving fighters to get a title shot and this staying busy garbage? If Haye was interested in staying busy he'd fight more than once every 8 or 9 months end of story.

Make no mistake either, this fight is happening not because Haye was treated unfairly in negotiations with Wladimir but rather because Haye simply wants to milk his WBA title. Haye's not a fighter he's a business man plain and simple. While he may believe he can beat Wladimir or Vitali for that matter, he's simply not willing to take that risk. Both brothers pose a much larger risk than all of Haye's heavyweight competition to date and a single loss to either brother would likely mark the end of his career. Haye could have accepted the last offer Wladimir made but in squabbling over TV money when everything else was 50/50 and there were no hidden post fight obligations Haye essentially priced himself out of the fight.

Haye wants no part of a Klitschko fight only because he knows that the consequences of a loss to either brother are effectively ones that could end his career. It truly is a sad state of affairs that a fight such as this is even allowed to happen and even more depressing that some fans will continue to back/support Haye. I've seen the spin he and his team have tried to put on this fight in order to sell it and I've already seen some people claiming that it will either be a good fight or that Haye needs it to stay active.

In reality there is nothing Haye can do or say to justify his fight with Harrison especially when you consider that there are other more credible opponents he could have chosen and the fact that, had he wanted it, he could have fought Wladimir before he fought anyone else. Haye's goal is to ride out his last year in the sport taking fights that have minimal risk while offering the greatest reward. He's not interested in legacy or accomplishment, he's interested in milking what he has and protecting his marketability, at least overseas. Then again Haye must be an incredibly horrible businessman because the Harrison fight is proverbial nail in the coffin for most boxing fans and pundits.

At any rate I won't be watching this fight and I don't believe he'll ever fight either Klitschko. He's been presented contracts for two years running yet at every turn Haye's had an excuse for not signing on. If he hasn't by this point in time he probably won't ever sign on to fight either brother. Haye's a joke and is quickly becoming the poster boy for everything that's wrong with boxing today. Excuses, lies, soft opposition, big talk without backing it up, constant inactivity, etc. Haye has become the antithesis of what he promised he would eventually be in the Heavyweight division.

This fight is a boxing abomination!

all i know is that this is not what reall boxing fans everywhere want to see.

we want haye if not fighting klits then being on hbo, broadcast to us audience fighting a "top" heavyweight,i.e-adamek,arreola,chambers,and to have beaten them better and quicker than the klits did.

but due to idiot joe public haye vs harrison is happening, and obvs. sky sports would have forced it and it will be big money.

but haye seems to just want to shut fraudley up once and for good,so the only good thing that comes of this is fraudley getting KO'ed real quick and forced into retirement.

i do think haye is honest on the failed klit negotiations,i think he should have taken the less money allowed klit greed just to get hte fight and KO them both then all the fame will bring his fortune after the fights.

tbh also the klits fight bums constantly, fighting peters and briggs is no better rally than haye fighting fraudley.

LINK ME..... or withdraw that statement !!

I have said on numerous occasions, that it is PLAINLY FKN OBVIOUS, that Haye will take the money fight with Harrision.

I said that WAYYYYYYYYYY before Haye made the public comment stating that he would NEVER fight Audley Harrison.

Which is why I was so surprised.

Exactly, can someone please find that link for me.....
                    I can't find shi7 on the internet.

                    Haye definitely made that statement.

Then I will post Pirao a DOZEN posts that I have made, some up to weeks before Haye denied the fight, all indicating that it was plainly obvious that he would take that big brit payday.

He's taking what he can before the clock run's out, it was plainly obvious.

Haye definitely made that statement, and I estimate that it was approximately 6 weeks ago, here on BS.

                      bojangles remembers as well.
