What is the worst thing a boxer can be called?

    • A coward for ducking opponents

Scared of fighting opponents that form a threat. David Haye comes to mind.
    • Heartless inside the ring

Give up when things become tough or aren't going their way. Victor Ortiz comes to mind.
    • Boring to watch

Only care about winning the fight and not care about pleasing the crowd. Chad Dawson comes to mind.
    • Undedicated boxers

Out of shape boxers or boxers that aren't fully committed to the sport. Chris Arreola comes to mind.
    • A dirty boxer

Hitting after the bell, headbutting and rabbit punching. Maidana comes to mind (regularly hits after the bell and constantly punches at the back of the head)
    • A Backyard boxer

Afraid of getting out of their comfort zone to fight away from home or at someone elses backyard. Andre Ward comes to mind.

Even a boxer who has a questionable heart still gets in the ring against tough competition. Unlike a coward who avoids the top competition.

Add Floyd to the Coward list since he ducked the top 147 division for years while he was at that weight-class, also add him for being a boring cautious fighter in the ring because he fears of taking damage. So he takes as little risks in the ring by fighting fighters he know he can beat.

Wlad isn't the most boring boxer today.

Hopkins, Mayweather and Dawson are seen as boring by many.

My pick would be coward, cause in my opinion no professional is a coward so that must hurt the most hearing some idiotic fans call you a coward who would never have the balls to step into the ring.

Another term that comes to mind is "punchy"

What he said, its a word thrown about far too often by couch potatoes. Virtually none of those guys (Haye included!) are physical cowards. They may well be cautious (or 'cowardly') if you like in terms of considering fights in terms of future career prospects, but transplant that to the outside world and it's pretty much something we are all guilty of to some degree.

Worst IMHO ('cowardly' just being ignorant bollocks) is probably actually 'tomato can'. That must really hurt, because even the most egotistic TC knows deep down that it's true and they are on the road to nowhere other than cauliflower ears and brain damage.
