It was the afternoon of April 23, 1988, back in the days when boxing was on Network TV. On this occasion, boxing fans with a pop and some popcorn pulled up to the tube to watch a battle for the vacant IBF welterweight championship between Simon Brown (24-1, 18 KO's) and Tyrone Trice (28-1, 24 KO's) on CBS. That particular fight, scheduled for fifteen rounds is as great now 17 years later as it was live!
