Sounds pretty f***** up pointed in the opposite direction doesn't it? Sounds like a racist bigot making a prejudice statement now that it contains that particular buzz word.

That's what FMJ sounded like to Filipino people and what you sound like generalizing them in your statement.
except floyd never used the equivalent of ****** when talking about manny and he never said anything about all pinoys so please make a rational even comparison.

You are exaggerating what he said and taking an extreme position because you know floyds comments were directed at only manny. While they were stereotypical and offensive, they were not directed at all asians or philipinos.

People want whatever bothers them to be such a big issue they will make it out to be something it is not. I think people are calling it racist and racism because they know it will get more press and a reaction out of people even though that is not true.

The comments were not racist I wish people would really understand that.
YES THE COMMENTS WERE WRONG OFFENSIVE AND SAID OUT OF A STEREOTYPE!!!!
Do people know there is a difference between stereotype and racist/racism?

how would the black community react if manny came out and say "he'd cook him fried chicken and serve him some kool-aid?

they are gonna crucify manny, much much worse than floyd is being treated now.

floyd is getting it easy imo.

ACtually that was the espn and the mainstream media that took fuzzy zoeller to task. They are hardly black.

Even if the black community cried and b!tched that Manny was a racist and the remarks were part of racism does that make the black community right?

That is what I am getting at and people with they feelings so tied up in this just don't get it. I am not saying anybody is wrong for taking PBF to task over what he said. But people are wrong for calling PBF a racist and screaming racism. Do you get it now? Those comments would be based off a bad stereotype not racism if Manny said them.

i don't watch golf, so i don't know how that went down.

but come on, floyd said some stuff that crossed the line.

im not blaming the pinoys or asians for their statements. they have the right to say they don't tolerate such things, and they were offended by those remarks.

im sure floyd didn't intend to offend anyone else other that pacquiao when making that video, but he did.

im sorry, but i don't see how anyone can defend floyd on this one.

he said some ****** ****... different people are gonna react differently to it.

he knows he did something wrong cause he came out with that apology vid.

again, i don't think it was intention to offend anyone other than pacquiao. unfortunately, he pissed of the people he wasn't intending to offend while pacquiao basically said "meh" about it.

Manny is the only one who should be offended. Just like some posters here., people seem to think floyd owes manny some level of respect. I don't think he does.
