    Maidana Will Destroy Khan

Amir Khan may have the superior hand speed, movement and boxing skills compared to Marcos Maidana, but what Khan doesn’t have is the chin and you have to have a good chin to beat Maidana. The Argentinean fighter has only been beaten once in his career by Andriy Kotelnik in 2009. And in that fight, Kotelnik took a massive amount of punishment and looked as if he had been run over by a truck.

I’ve never seen Kotelnik’s face look so horrible. I’m aware of the fact that Kotelnik thinks that Khan can beat Maidana, but that would require Khan to be able to handle an entire fights’ worth of big shots from Maidana. I don’t think Khan’s chin is good enough to even handle six rounds of power shots from Maidana. I can see Khan getting knocked out in one or two rounds. As soon as Maidana lands his first hard shot, I think Khan will fold. Khan hasn’t been in with a big puncher since 2008.

He’s beaten Kotelnik, a light puncher, Dmitri Salita, another light puncher, Paulie Malignaggi, a pillow puncher, Osin ***an, a light puncher, and Marco Antonio Barrera, a blown up super featherweight. Beating those guys doesn’t mean that Khan’s chin is capable of withstanding the full force shots from Maidana. I don’t care if Maidana looked bad in beating DeMarcus Corley in his last fight. Corley isn’t Khan and he was in trouble anyway against Maidana.

Simply put, Khan will run all night and try to win on throwing jabs alone. But you can’t win a fight throwing nothing but jabs and avoid getting hit entirely. Maidana is going to catch Khan at some point and when that happens Khan is going to get flattened flatter than a pan cake. They better bring smelling salts because I see Maidana knocking Khan completely out cold.

exactly how i see it. If Khan wins it will because his punch resistance is alot better at 140.

Like how Alexander was gonna destroy kotelnik

Maidanas chin is not all that either... He has heart though probably round 8 tko khans hands are just to fast. No one seems to take into account that khan is a huge jr ww yet when he was getting pit down he was at 135... Cotto improved dramatically going up In weight maybe khan will too? Who knows he hasn't faced a puncher or been hit that much either.

I think both are really overrated especially Maidana. But I favor Khan by decision...better skills and speed but Maidana might have him on ***** street once or twice but i think he prolly gets outboxed for the most part.

Just a couple days ago you said Khan will win by points.

What change your mind in the last couple days?

Honestly if Maidana didn't hit like a truck nobody would be giving him a chance and it seems the only advantages besides power people are giving Maidana are intangible skills like toughness and heart.

Khan's going to take a licking, but I see him as too skilled to lose this fight

I can't see an Amir Khan thats been coached by Roach for coming up to three years losing Marcos Maidana. Its possible. Its not time travel but I just can't see it.

I'm a Khan fan. I see him possibly getting beaten but I believe he is a far better fighter than Maidana. Marcos' footwork, hands everything is too slow.

If it gets late on and he NEEDS a KO Maidana might do it. Then Khan has the stamina to go the distance and keep the speed and power up?

Thats what he's gonna be working at. It'll be the core of his regime no doubt.

Could Maidana force a crack in his armour? Maybe, but Roach will be in his ear.

i can see it going a few different ways.

khan doing what he did to salita on madaina

khan doing what he did to kotneik on madaina

khan stopping madaina like he did to paulie

                    or

                    madaina doing what prescott did

and i can see a khan-gomez/ madaina/ortiz repeat where both going down but any winner possible.

think i have covered my bases.
