    Natural weight

Why do some people always assume a fighters "natural weight" is the weight he started is pro career at?

Do people not grow over time and get heavier naturally?

Bernard Hopkins in his mid 40s isn't going to weigh the same as Bernard Hopkins in his 20s.

So what exactly is his natural weight?

The lowest possible weight a fighter can make at the time of a fight in which he is not drained, keeps his speed, power and skills. The main thing that contributes to this is a fighters body type

Paul Williams, is a natural WW, Pac is a lightweight or JWW

Plus fighters at different times of thier careers

It's funny, I also get a kick out of fans that think because such and such a boxer walks around at such and such a weight he automatically is a natural at that higher weight he walks around in.
