Zavec Fought and Dominated With Elbow Injury

Apparently he had an elbow injury and is going in for surgery pretty soon. Expects a two month rehab. Makes the win even more impressive.

Zaveck is actualyl a pretty darn good fighter. I would give him a decent shot to beat Berto.

Much better than the WBA champ, Senchenko.

Ya people hating on him either haven't seen him or are just hating for the sake of hating. He's not quite elite in his skills but he does have a good skillset and along with his toughness would be quite formidable for alot of the "elite" guys, Froch style. I was thinking of a Berto matchup too, wouldn't be shocked if pulled off a win and i'd certianly love to see the 140lb beater Berto get worked by him.

One of the under the radar fighters. Kind of like Madiana before he beat Ortiz. Anyhow, save for Pac/Pbf, I give him a good chance to beat the other WWs. Been watching him since with fight with Isaac. I was actually wanting to see Isaac but came out impressed by Zaveck.

And even though Rafael is just a bad style match up for him, he just want to avenge his only loss. Much respect.

Classy fighters and great fight. If people don't know of Jackiewicz, just think it was 5 years ago since his last loss.

Edit: just note this was their first match. I found it very entertaining.

man I would love to see Berto get beat.

I seriously doubt a Zaveck-Berto fight will ever happen though.

              Pretty impressive, then.

I admit I know next to nothing about the European 147 lbs. titleholders? How good are they?

Zaveck is good, look at his fight with Issac Hlatschowo or however you spell his last name. its a quality tko win.

Senchenko(WBA champ) is not good from what Ive seen, and struggled with a subpar fighter in his last title defence.

Zavec is a legit 147lber....with respectable power. highly unlikely.

Ah OK. Do you think he could be the next Arthur Abraham or Lucian Bute, a sleeper titlist who eventually comes into the spotlight?
