July 28, 2005 - Reliable sources from Korea have informed **********.com that WBC featherweight champion In Jin Chi has pulled out of his scheduled August 20 fight with undefeated mandatory challenger Rocky Juarez. Juarez-Chi was to be the televised co-feature to the Fernando Vargas-Javier Castillejo card and was expected to be one of the most competitive fights HBO has provided its subscribers all year long. Juarez is likely to stay on the card, but this news is hot of the presses, so stay tuned for all the latest. Until then, REMEMBER WHERE YOU HEARD IT FIRST! (12:45 AM ET)

That was one of the better fights coming up on HBO. It is a shame that whole card just went down the toilet.

That really sucks, though on the other hand I just know that half this fight would have been pre-empted up here cause of some late running CFL game, just like the last Kid Diamond fight, and I would have been pissed off the rest of the night. So at least I'm saved that stress .

Seriously, though, I wonder what the reason is. Doesn't sound like he's hurt or anything.

Yeah I was getting the feeling as well that Juarez had been getting Cintron-ed through most of his career (meaning he's been made to look good with bad opponents) and this would have been an opporunity to see him either get exposed or pull off a major win...probably the first of those two options.

Chi didnt duck Morales I wouldnt be able to understand him ducking a fighter like Juarez who was clearly beaten by Raheem who I think Chi would KTFO!
