In the Kotelnik fight, Alexander kept on jabbing. Alexander was hitting gloves almost the entire fight. He couldn't adapt and Kotelnik got his timing right and started hitting Alexandert clean with his jabs and right hands. You would think that Alexander would react to this but he did not. He kept on doing the same thing ans kept on jabbing. Predictable.
I agree about the Kotelnik fight but knocking someone out with a punch they didnt see coming predictable? And no it wasnt lucky it was a perfectly timed counter.

Sometimes it is luck, but I don't think Alexander punch was luck. I think he timed that punch. I mean he has a counter puncher type of style.

Urango was getting his timing right with Alexander. Alexanders jabs werent hitting the target anymore. Urango was having more success. But yes, Alexander did an excellent timing job timing and threw the uppercut when Urango threw that wild hook. Double impact: Urangos head was coming down, Alexanders fist was going up.

Oh yeah, I don't think Alexander was looking to KO Urango. Like Wazza said, its the way Urango came in and how Alexander timed him. But I think Alexander was a bit shocked he won by brutal KO. I mean Alexander isn't a seriously devastating puncher like people think. I think he is just a great counter puncher, but at the same time there's weakness in his game and you can take him off his game aswell. Kotelnik showed weaknesses in Alexander, pressure Alexander with a solid defense and land your own shots without taking much damage back.

Intentionally timing a knockout punch that isnt seem coming is in no way predictable.

Alexander can't adapt. It was Urango who did something different by throwing that wild hook.

Kotelnik is right about Khan/Maidana but I think Bradley beats Alexander by UD, maybe by 2 or 3 rounds.

But LOL at Kotelnik for thinking he's the best at 140lbs.. Khan schooled him, made him look like an amateur! Bradley would beat him too.

                1) Khan
                2) Bradley
                3) Kotelnik
                4) Alexander
                5) Ortiz
                6) Maidana

Kotelnik still mad about the fight. lmo

hes a little crybaby and dont take a loss like a man, but hes somehow right and speaks out and tells his emotions to the world. whats not bad.

but c'mon Andriy GET OVER IT.

hes still a top 140 pounder and a tough fight for everyone!

a robbery is a story for itself.

                    there were close fights
                    there were hometown decisions
there were gifts giving out for the younger, rising talent and future superstars
and also the robberies which somehow here in BS everyone is claming after a close fight.

Kotelnik also claiming a robbery after the Khan fight, he said other place and he would have won!

here are the fights Kotelnik should have won:

2010 (US) v Devon Alexander (loss) - IBF/WBC light welterweight title
2007 (UK) v Souleymane M'baye (draw) - WBA light welterweight title
2005 (UK) v Junior Witter (loss) - EBU (European) light welterweight title
