At the Auditorium Teopanzolco in Cuernavaca, México, Antonio Pitalua (49-4, 43KOs) knocked out Joe Rivera (20-9, 14KOs) with a right to the jaw in the fifth round to capture the vacant WBC FECARBOX welterweight title. Pitalua gets his third win since being knocked out by Edwin Valero in two rounds in Arpil 2009.

Damn valero took him out with no problem.. Eddie V would have been great. He showed so much talent in the Demarco win too... Oh well. On a side note i guess pitalua feels good goin from light to welter. He should go to 140 with everyone else.
