I am a Floyd fan and I never said it was a good thing. I think it was in very bad taste. What I said about it is that Pac deserves to be treated with the same criticism as Floyd for his behavior. That has not happened.

That is not what he is saying. The Mayweather/Pacquaio fight was hyped enough. You are right. It didn't need any more hype. It hasn't happened yet because they could not come to terms in the first negotiation and Bob Arum had no intention of putting Pac in the ring against Mayweather in November of this year.

The TS point is that, in spite of the fact that you and the majority of the people on this message board and the nitwits who call themselves "boxing writers" are criticizing Mayweather, the fact is that Mayweather's actions have garnered 10 times as much attention as the Pac/Margarito fight. That means that Mayweather is much more marketable and is the bigger star.

Lets see, Tiger Woods who created controversy and got more attention then pretty much any man on earth for that cheating thing for a little while is now a divorced man, who has lost several sponsers, tens of millions of dollars and cant even make a top 5.

But hey all the fact that everyone was talking about him means he is more marketable and is a huge star right?
