December 09, 2004 - Just minutes ago, Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s attorney John Hornewer gave **********.com the following statement regarding Mayweather's alleged involvement in a brawl at the Mandalay Bay this morning. "Robert Bracie and Al Haymon have checked with Floyd and Floyd has confirmed that a group of people who he was with entered the House Of Blues and that his cousin was struck over the head by a full champagne bottle. At that point, he and his girl turned and exited the club because he knows he can't get involved in things like this." Hornewer had to go due to another call coming in, but one must wonder how hard Mayweather, less than eight weeks removed from his scheduled bout with Henry Bruseles, is training when he's out clubbing into the wee hours of the morning.
