Super middleweight Andre Dirrell says there is "no truth at all" in the rumors being spread that he's attempting to withdraw from his Super Six bout with WBA champion Andre Ward. They are set to meet in the third stage of Showtime's Super Six tournament. The date was set for September 25 but without a location or an agreement between the two sides for a venue, the fight "is being postponed," says Dirrell.

I don't know why this fight is being postponed but I do know that it needs to happen sooner rather than later. I'd love to see it on the same night as Abraham vs. Froch or even the week after. I'm also going with Dirrell by points.

This venue dispute garbage is seemingly more and more like an excuse not to fight.

Dirrell hasn't proven he can draw flies to ****, which is primarily Gary Shaw's fault, the same guy that's dis*****g. If the best attendance can be had in Oakland make it there, but to be a bit more fair somewhere else in Cali.

Goossen has already proved he can bribe judges no matter where a fight is held. A big crowd makes for a great atmosphere.

Cry baby dirrell has no intention of fighting. Plus dirrell has zero fan base and no venue wants this dance fest anyway. Powder puff punching sissies like dirrell have no business boxing and Ward is right behind. Funny in these economic times why all the cities don't want this dance fest fight. No fans outside their immediate hanger ons and families follow dirrell and ward anyway. Tv doesn't even want them.
