This is hilarious. I'm signed up to get ESPN Boxing alerts and I get a text about Mayweather's apology to Pacquiao. Really? Was that even necessary? I'm not sure how that's important enough to alert everyone about? Agree or disagree?

ESPN Boxing - Floyd Mayweather Jr. apologized for profanity-laced tirade directed at Manny Pacquiao
    Come on....

It's obvious now that it's all hype, this was the icing on the cake.

Log into ESPN, then go under my preferences or something of that sort, it should show you your alerts.

Why get alerts from ESPN? It seems to me all their texts they send would be about Tim Tebow, Brett Favre, and the New York Yankees.

Agreed... Floyd needed some attention too now that pacquiao is signed to fight somebody else. All he had to do from now on is to apologize and all of us sucker fans will say "he did not mean it" .

He shoulda been more racist before his needed vacation with the family. Fight pacquiao and beat him, then apologize to the world for what he had said. It woulda been more believable than what had happened.

They send you alerts about games in progress, like the scores, stats, etc. But this one was just funny.

They are usually those types of text and I usually delete them right away. The Mayweather text was way late and unnecessary.
