If you had Lorenzo winning this fight period, let alone by FOUR ROUNDS, you should never watch another boxing match again. Throwing and hitting gloves doesnt win rounds. Sturm was efficient and landing at will. Lorenzo was throwing more but rarely connecting.

na man sturm is the best in the world martinez would have no chance martinez hasnt fought anyone yet,his win against the lazy fat **** pavlik means nothing trust me.

I hope he fights sturm next but from what ive heard martinez wants too much money he doesnt deserve it tho, sturm has been longer around and sturm fought better people.

Lorenzo only won 2 rounds, maybe 3. Im not a big Sturm Fan and i doubt he could beat Williams, Martinez or Pirog, but against Lorenzo he won clearly and the judges were right, it was a clear victory. Sturms handspeed and Jab is great but what he really lacks is power. He cant crack en egg and history told he can be knocked out. Thats why they never let him fight dangerous opponents like Pavlik or Abraham because Sturm wouldnt be able to deal with their power. Sturm beat Abraham twice as an amteur but that was amateur with 4 rounds, amateur-gloves and headgear. In the pros Abraham would crush Sturm in the later rounds and prime Pavlik would have stopped him in the first half already, Pavlik would wear him down with his workrate and power. But these days Sturm could beat Pavlik because Pavlik is not the same fighter since Hopkins destroyed him. A fight against Abraham is out of question since he moved up to supermiddle. Sturm would have to move up to face him but he already week at middleweight. Strong supermiddleweights would overrun and overpower Sturm.

A nice comeback win for Sturm, who looked a little rusty in there. I'm sure he's back on top next time and he needs to be. Golovkin is no joke.

It was an ok performance from Sturm, nothing great but not too bad considering the lay off......at least his jab was there unlike in the Gevor fight.

Lorenzo didn't do too bad either, those official scores seem a little harsh to me, Lorenzo could have won up to 5 rounds but it was Germany and I figured any close ones would go to Sturm anyway.
