Originally I would have had to concede that it is Khan, much as I like to see him fight. Now, though, I think it might be Maidana. But it's not the media, I don't think that is overhyping him, I think the fans that are doing it.

Maidana, Khan and even my boy Alexander...they are ALL Overrated, Alexander and Khan are being hyped for their POTENTIAL and what they POSSIBLY can do, Maidana hype hype is from his fight against Ortiz but I think Ortiz would beat him in a rematch, if I had to pick between the two I would go with Khan, because Khan haven't beat ANYBODY besides Soft Punchers and Old Guys, I think Ortiz is still better then anyone Khan has beaten so far

Bradley is the best 140 lbs fighter TODAY...PERIOD yes I am a bigger Alexander fan but I am a EVEN Bigger Boxing fan IN GENERAL and I don't have to be bias just because I am a bigger fan of Alexander, you can combine Maidana, Alexander and Khan's Resume and it STILL doesn't match Bradley's...that is just being REALISTIC and I can admit when my favorite fighter is being overrated

Yes...both are hype jobs yet both are within the top 4 of their division...okay...

And don't even start pullin the, "They don't fight the best of the best, their records consist of cans", because in boxing, you'll find records like that 98% of the time...

but in all honesty bradley has been boxing longer then khan and alexander so he should have a better resume, lets not forget he did vacate his title so he wouldnt have to face ur boy.....

yeah that is true but one thing about Bradley and what he has over the rest...he is that he is not afraid to test himself, meaning that Bradley WANTS TO FIGHT THE BEST, the rest of the guys in the division true indeed they are young but it seems like they are trying to Sugar Coat their way to the Top by taking a bunch of Taylormade fights, while Bradley on the underhand was taking on TOUGH opponents while on his way to the top of the Division, people can look at guys like Kendell Holt and Edner Cherry now and say "they wasn't that good" but when Bradley fought them those guys was the best of the best in his divisions, just like people was quick to say Bradley fought a OLD Witter but Junior at the time was on a LONG win streak and Bradley went to him home town, his back yard can came back home with the Title

that is why even though I am a bigger fan of Alexander...I have GREAT Respect for Bradley because he is trying to become a star the OLD SCHOOL way, which is letting his PERFORMANCE IN THE RING do the talking for him

the rest of these guys are trying "MICROWAVE" their way to stardom and big paydays instead of actually earning it in the ring...ESPECIALLY KHAN!

Maidana isn't over-hyped. No one gave him a chance of beating Alexander or Bradley. The reason he's got a decent chance against Khan is because of Khan's chin. Maidana is far better than Prescott and Khan hasn't faced a puncher since the Prescott fight. And Maidana is a good fighter, just not elite. He was clearly unfit against Corley, but he won't be unfit against Khan.

Khan has been over-hyped up to now, but he had a very good win against Kotelnik, winning almost every round, whereas Alexander struggled and arguably deserved to lose against Kotelnik. He also beat Malignaggi in impressive style. You can't deny his speed and skills. His chin hasn't been tested since he lost to Prescott, but it'll sure as hell be tested against Maidana, and then we'll see where he's at. If he beats Maidana in style then you will no longer be able to credibly call him over-hyped.

I think the fans overrate Maidana because his win against Ortiz and Khan will be the heavy favorite going in this fight and the only way Amir loses is if he gets caught. I still think Maidana should have rematched Ortiz but he didn't want to risk his new found fame against the same guy who gave him the chance.

Amir will win this fight and the myth of khan will only get bigger

If Khan will be the heavy favourite then that proves Maidana isn't over-hyped.

Maidana did far better against Kotelnik than Alexander did. You're seriously under-rating him.

Why should Maidana take a high risk fight against Ortiz when he was already Khan's mandatory? That would have been ******.

To say that the only way Khan loses is if he gets caught is just stating the obvious. But at some stage in the fight he will get caught, and then we'll find out whether his chin and ability to recover have improved under Roach.
