Why Margarito might win, and why I want him to.

Margarito beat Martinez. Martinez even said it was a legitimate victory, also he's got a pretty sick uppercut with range. That's something we haven't seen in Manny's latest fights and could be a game-changer.

Just some reason why he MIGHT pull out the shock victory.

Now why I want him to win?? I want Margarito to be on an upswing for a Margarito vs Martinez rematch at 160. I know Martinez wants it and aside from a cotto rematch, what else would you want to see?

I think Margarito will win because he has a good work ethic, has range and some power.I cant see Pacquiao having his way

I'd like that but all the haters wont. They will say he has to fight Cotto/Cintron first. To me, it don't matter. I'm sure he has no problem fighting them all agan eventually.

      Good opinion though.

Dude he's taller, has longer reach, fought at the weight longer-- of course he "might" win.

as soon as i was finished rewatching that pasting that mosley put on him, i thought "margarito is going to beat pacquiao."

a couple of mosley's bodyshots looked like they were going to cut margarito in two BUT pacquiao doesn't have that same body/ head attack, doesn't have as heavy of a one-punch shot as mosley and doesn't clinch with the same ability. those three things were 90% of the reason mosley dominated that fight.

pacquiao is going to get hit A LOT and, though his punch resistance seems great, the aftereffects of his fights against clottey and cotto have been more telling as to how well he's actually been taking punishment.

i truly want mayweather to be the one that ends pacquiao's run but margarito is going to take him to heck and back if he comes in properly trained on cutting off the ring, getting dominate foot position against a southpaw and conditioned to fight his fight for 13 rounds.

Sure, Margarito "might" win. But I would not bet a cent on him winning.

i wouldnt count Margarito out. though im still rooting for Manny, Marg is a pressure fighter. he will be a lot bigger come fight night. what if Manny couldnt hurt Marg? because i know Marg will keep on coming and keep on punching. Manny felt Cotto and Clotteys punch. im pretty sure he can feel Marg punches too.

i think Manny is just too small for Jr. Middleweight although most boxing fans and experts already doubted him over and over when he face bigger opponents. Manny didnt just beat those guys, he destroy them. he is comfortable in welterweight division. im not sure if he can be as dominant in jr middleweight. thisfight might be a test
