It was a close fight but Simpson deserved the nod. Smith was terrible on the inside. He kept on getting caught with big shots as he rushed in and tried to hold. He could have made life a lot easier for himself if he sat on his punches a little more kept popping Simpson with one twos. But for some reason he felt as if he needed to rush in and hold.
