Rate Emmanuel Steward as a Trainer

Emmanuel Steward is one of the best trainers in the world.

His 2 signature fighters are considered to be:

Wladimir Klitschko (Future IBHOF inductee and ATG Heavyweight)
Thomas Hearns (Future IBHOF inductee and P4P ATG 5 Division Champ)

He has also trained the likes of; Gerald McClellan, Naseem Hamed, Oscar De La Hoya, Wilfred Benitez etc etc

    How do you rate him???

Ray Arcel is better than Eddie Futch.

overrated......always training already world champs or ex champs, when has he brought up someone from the amateurs and lead them to a world title?...i never see any change when he trains fighters either... overrated trainer of the decade

Don't think Holyfield would have been world champ without him.

you aint lying bro, he loves that heavyweight jab jab right hand, and none of his fighters throw combos in the lighter divisions(all except heavy). He ***ed JTs career up with that ****. i give him a 7.9 along with roach. Roach is awesome but his defense is shabby at best. If Roach foucsed on teaching his fighters how to block properly, hed get a 10

I would say hes decent. His best work has been with W. Klitshcko and Hearns. Not to knock on either of them, but they had boring jab, jab, jab, jab, straight right styles. Effective but somewhat. I guess he can get the job done if you can't get better. I think what happened with Taylor and Cintron is more of their fault, but I hope he does something with Cotto.

I think he has been doing a pretty good job with Khan and his defense.
