Maidana isn't avoiding Khan, but he is asking for too much money.

I believe that HBO are putting up $2m for this fight. With a couple of undercard fights, that purse will probably be reduced to $1.5-1.7m. Khan is guaranteed around $800,000 - $1,000,000 a fight with Golden Boy. So out of a prospective purse of $1.7m, Khan is going to want at least $1m of that. Anybody with any sense can tell that Maidana isn't going to get a $1m purse.

Khan is the star. He is the champion. He is the arena filler. And he can certainly make more money else where. Maidana should accept around $500,000 for a career high payday, and be happy with it. If he refuses, then he doesn't deserve the respect and accolades he has received up to this point.

I doubt this Peterson is a dog and is tall..I say he gives Khan a hard time..We will never see this fight to dangerous for Con...Judah would not beat Peterson which is why he is fighting Matthyse,Peterson would be a better opponent for Judah being the fact he fought Bradley..Ortiz IMO beats them all...
