Junior Jones to fight my Stable mate!

This is exclusive breaking news. Yesterday I was sparring at Dupree's Gym in Jersey City, when my boy Antonio Espinoza, 5-0 (1 KO), and my trainer Lucky, told me he was fighting Junior Jones.

Jones, who has been inactive since losing a 10 round decision to Ivan Alvarez in 2002, is a former 2 division champion with wins over Jorge Julio, Orlando Canizales, and two upset wins over Marco Antonio Barrera.

Antonio Espinoza, who fights out of the Union City Boxing Club, is an undefeated southpaw and 2003 NJ Golden Gloves Champion. While only scoring 1 knockout among his 5 wins, he is an underrated puncher with a sizzling body attack and awe-inspiring hand speed.

No word yet on the location or venue, but possible sites are ******ia or The Blue Horizon.

Wasn't Junior Jones supposed to fight Chris John in Southeast Asia? What happened with that fight?

EDIT - Nevermind. It was Derrick Gainer who fought Chris John. And lost. I got Gainer and Jones mixed up coz both are trying to get their career back on top.

Apparently, after watching the report on this past FNF, Antonio is not fighting Junior Jones. Apparently Jones is not in any shape to fight.

Yeah, Teddy Atlas was talking about Junior Jones, and the prosepct of whether the commission would let him fight or not. Some people seem to think that he is in no condition to fighting. I guess we will have to wait and see.
