Whould Aydin even be in the realm of HBO thoughts without Berto?
    so what?
Aydin can let it go to purse bid....without HBO money, no way DiBella outbids-Ohner........that would make abetter pay for Aydin, and the fight would be in his hometown

HBO had the opportunity to force Berto to face a good opponent if he didnt want to travel, but once again, Al Haymon f.ucks em in the as.s

I just don't get why HBO pays Berto so much money. He doesn't even have a big fan base, or even a fan base at all.

He doesn't have anybody to face really. So I guess I don't blame him for the fight, but why the same money? What does he bring HBO?

I hope Aydin low-blows Berto hard as hell, thats what he gets for avoiding Mike Jones.

Still he is the known guy to HBO, Aydin wouldn't get a sniff at HBO without Berto.

75/25 is fair for a guy who has fought in the US exactly 1 time that was on ESPN (maybe Shobox now that I think about it) I believe if it was even on TV. So however little you want to make of Berto's star power is is like 500 times the star of Aydin who should be willing take real short money just to get this huge oppurtunity.

I don't care that much about the fight but the WBC would probably give Berto 75/25 anyways so why bother with that trouble and the chance Berto says fuck that noise.

When you get a huge oppurtunity it is wise to take it regardless of the money offered, Aydin will not get a better chance than this IMO. If I was Berto's team that is how I would play it for sure.

Berto is a nobody just like the guy he's fighting. Again, why is HBO paying so much money for this fight?
