Margarito - True Marketing Genius

The hand plaster has made Margarito the most infamous boxer in boxing atm!

Margarito entering the twilight of his career (he's facing Pacman) knows he is going to get pummeled into the ground by Mosley. So he and his team come up with not so crazy marketing scheme perfected by Floyd of bad press = sales.

Their plan was to pretend to stick pads in their fighters hand wraps and get caught. And Nazeem, being the semi aware person that he is, noticed this after Margarito's cornerman deliberately dropped the pads and made a big show of picking them up and placing them against the knuckles.

Since that moment Margarito's infamy has grown to gigantic proportions.

The news has gobbled up the storm of different sentiments and people have been arguing for months.

All of this has led up to Margarito getting the biggest payday of his career against the worlds best active fighter.

Here's why I think it's better than Floyd's "racist rant" marketing ploy.

Margarito is working with less:

-Hand Speed of a Snail
-A chin of china after the Mosley fight
-Being Ruined (shot) by a fighter by Mosely, no Cotto, nah probably the war with Williams that did it
-Boxing skills less than that of an amature
-The only thing he had going for him - his power is now gone because he cant use his pads.

So this taxi cab driver is set for the biggest fight of the year.
