michael jordan has always been loved by americans, white or black. and so is oprah, will smith, denzel washington and most of all barack *****...they gave him the most important position in america. if american media was biased towards him he would've not won the presidency.
I take it that you don't live in America, LOL at ***** being "Loved In America", Racism has gotten worse in America since ***** became President because now that he is President some IGNORANT people now think Racism is over because he is President and that is SO FAR FROM THE TRUTH
First off tiger woods isn't black. And does the American media scrutinize black American males more, yes. Why, who knows its not worth starting a race war over.
Oh, your one of dem suit brothers. Good on ya. Stick it to the man home!
An eye for an eye will sort out the worlds problems!
Look brother, I have my master's in Sociology. I study the behaviors of cultures and ethnic groups for a living. My attitudes about race are a bit different than your average person. In fact I do not see race and I wish it could be dealt away with. However, I am not naive and the current states of the world. Lighter skin unfortunately in society in many, many countries, including the Philippines equal privilege. I know this.
So I resent the whole "stick it to the man" claim as if I'm some sort of black nationalist. It's unfortunate you would put someone you do not know in a box.
My feelings on the state of race relations in the world have nothing to do on how I feel about Mayweather's comments. His comments were racially insensitive and I do not approve his comments not one bit. So if person has an opinion based solely on their own personal experience and what they have witness as being apart of a demographic group one should not make a generalization and believe that they're excusing ignorant comments.
One last thing, it shouldn't be a black, white or whatever thing when someone who happens to be black commits a dumb action. You must see it as a foolish person committing a foolish action who happens to be black. If you do not see it that way than you are generalizing and are no better than the person you are criticizing. Just because I happen to be black and the same goes for Floyd Mayweather Jr does not mean that his comments reflect me no more than it reflects you as being a man.
Black and Arab's are viewed with the same class as every other race
So HA!
Basically. There's no such thing as a "race card", that's just something that whites(and now other non-blacks) use to try and immediately dismiss the role race may play in a certain situation. This "race card" nonsense was invented by white people after the OJ trial. The fact of the matter is race plays a part in how a people are depicted and treated by the media in this country. It always has and always will. Anybody that denies that is just ignorant to life.
