I guess Ali calling another black dude a uncle Tom was pure class.
You dudes need to kick rocks with your bull****. Ali was hated worst then Floyd. Only as time past people began to love him. You dudes kill me with this revisionist ****.
you're dead wrong. how old are you? even when i was a kid then (5-7 yrs old) i always hear admirations for ali, and i grew to admire him too. he's witty and a great fighter. seen his fight in manila, although only in black and white tv, i remember the whole neighborhood stopped, just to watch him fight. (on a side note, this is what is happening in phils. too whenever pacman fights)
That's my point, you would remember any brilliant witty comment - not have to look it up? Right
And why shouldn't i care about what he says if it belittles (literally lol) one of my favourite fighters? i dislike it, and have made a thread to show it's nonsense.
clearly you care too as you've posted on this thread
I don't remember a lot of my favorite quotes verbatim, period. There's too much stuff I've ever heard, read and absorbed to be able to remember *everything* on command.
No, I don't especially care about what Floyd Jr. says. That's my point. I was making observations, the last of which is an observation that you guys put way too much stock in what fighters "say" to/about each other.
I don't care what Pacquiao says about Floyd or what other fighters say about any fighters I support. That's woman business.
Observe your own tone earlier in the discussion, belligerent, posting baby-bottles and such at people. It's natural that people will interpret a belligerent, riled-up tone and end up taking shots at you rather than just debating you in a straightforward way.

A memorable quote like Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee would stay in anyones mind.
I was a bit riled up, but i wasn't taking shots at other people on the forum, just arguing my point.
and come on, if you don't care about what he says why post on this thread?
It's Run's fault for instigating this mess back in page 2.
I don't even know why he's here, except for lack of a life.
I mean it, I wasn't just dissing. He watches NO boxing from one weekend to the next.
There was a FOTY candidate raging last weekend, and he showed no interest either before or after it. I doubt he even knew or cared who Calderon or Segura are (he's only 108lb, after all, he probably doesn't matter in Run's ********** ideal fantasy-fighting universe full of hench skinheads who can't throw a straight punch to save their lives).
He's the one who actually derailed this thread into something completely unrelated to the topic.
Writing a whole bunch of blabbering bullshit does not equate to clowning.
It's not blabbering at all.
I responded to each point accurately and concisely.
It's all on-point.
You seem obsessed with Stones being a ****. Maybe you're a ****, too, and this is your way of trying to get to know him? Send me another novel-length blabbering PM about him, why don't you?
Ali had the COURAGE to stand by his beliefs about the Vietnam war even if it cost him his entire fortune. And yes, he lost his entire fortune because of the courageous stand that he took.
Ali also had the COURAGE to fight his opponents INSIDE THE RING.
Don't insult Ali by comparing a cheap son of a drug dealer father and drug addict mother to him.
What does s mother being a former and his father being a former drug dealer have to do with what I said about Ali being hated. Are you saying Ali didn't come from the struggle.
