Us non Blacks have to ask because we're not qualified on the usage of the word.
If I said Floyd was a "ni gger", because of the way he acts,
would that be ok? Or is it only other Blacks who can point that out with that word?

Originally posted by DempseyRollin View Postno, it wouldnt be ok becuase of the history attached to the word. history is everything. historically, that would has caused a lot of pain, destruction and death. its not ok to use and i dont think it is ok for black ppl to use amongst themselves either, but it happens and that is still different that a white person using it.
I understand the history behind it,
but what if I, a Chicano say, "Floyds just being a ni gger" in the same tone that Ex said it,
is it racist, or just an observation?

thats the historical context in which whites used it, to justify their actions. its really not hard to understand and there are numerous journal articles and books written about it, ive had to study racism in america for my college thesis paper and u discover a lot of this stuff, its really interesting if u wanna read around.
