tough and energetic, a little bland in character to contrast the excitement he gives in the ring but intimidating no stopping once he exploits u style. has more trouble exploiting defensive guys and hes bein too slow to return after his last fight, duno why the holdup.

not gonna say prospect though seems too careful still, hbo started introducing him in full force yet where's he been? look fwd to his next one.

To me,Andre Berto epitomizes everything that is wrong with the sport today. Here we have an average, fairly boring fighter, who right now,is at the stage in his career where he is supposed to be in his prime, and yet,at age 27(in a few days),almost six years of professional experience and two years spent as a world title holder,he's still being treated like some young,up-and-coming prospect.

What we see of Andre Berto today is the best that we're ever going to see him.If anything,he is going to get worse once his speed and athleticism begin to decline over the next two years - which at the rate that he's going,he's bound to be in the same level as he is now: avoiding other top contenders within his own division and picking on smaller men.

Typical American Network fighter who continues to be shoved down our throats, who would rather sit out months upon months waiting for a TV date rather than staying active and making the most out of the prime that he has left.

And personally,I find those girly noises he makes in the ring a complete disgrace too.

Berto is a B-class fighter at best. His boxing skills ae mediocre. Just like a previous poster has stated, he relies on speed, power and his overall athleticism. He is already 27 and has still not fought anyone significant. He is one of the reasons why the WW division is now seen as weak.

I agree with a lot here. He's a decent fighter but thats as far as it will ever go with him.
