Who the fuck does this guy think he is?
I don't think he's scared to step up the competition. I mean he's always been more than willing to fight guys like Mosley, Judah and Cotto. He's been trying to get a fight with Mosley since 2008, but Mosley saw Margo as an easier choice and in mid 2009 Mosley was trying to get Floyd or Pac in the ring, so he wasn't worried about Berto. But he definitely wanted the fight. He's also been trying to get Cotto in the ring for a while.

However he is just a complete idiot and blew his opportunity because he thinks he's this superior. The guy isn't a draw...Heck, he isn't even an elite WW. My problem with him is that after blowing the opportunity of a lifetime to fight Mosley this Fall, he instead goes after smaller guys who obviously wouldn't be a threat to him. He should have just fought Jones, because now he's fighting an even bigger nobody who just may make him look bad. A win over Jones would look great on his resume. A win over Aydin wouldn't.

Anyone that thinks Vazquez Jr.'s management would let it get past just talking and actually put the kid in their against Caballero is fooling themselves or has an agenda. The kid has skills and seems as if he can sell some tickets, unless they're sure he can beat Caballero (which they aren't) they wouldn't throw him in there.

Dibella would put Caballero against anyone under 126 and even fighters at 130 can get it. They want to throw the man in there against Gamboa, Lopez, Solis, etc., yet they're going to be running away from someone without amateur experience and like 20 pro fights?

**** putting on Berto, if he isn't taking short money (which is probably still even more than what Katsidis will make), sit his ass on the shelf and let him go to Showtime or to Turkey to fight Aydin.

From what I can guess Berto will accept the fight, it's just that Al Haymon's trying to milk HBO all he can for Berto.
