    Hatton is done

Former world champion Ricky Hatton has told BBC Radio Manchester that he will probably never fight again. “You can never say never, but if I was to put my last pound on it I would say ‘no, I think that’s me done,’” he said. “…I’ve been retired, if that’s what you can call it, for 16 months. I announced I was going to make a comeback and I came back off holiday and went into a training camp for three or four weeks, but it just wasn’t the same.” He added that he’s renewed his boxing license just in case he changes his mind.

He had a very good career smart move by the hitman.

Yes the aura is not there now. When your last fight is of you flat on your back like that. Its like your dignity as a fighter is gone.
Hatton knows hes human now, and potentially what can happen to him.

This is news? I was pretty sure Hatton was done once the Wendy's and McDoubles started having a huge effect.

He's retired now after fighting the best available. Give the man his respect.
