People acting like this is the first time a fighter not worthy of a title shot gets one. It's true, Chavez jr is going from fighting less then stellar opposition, to one of the best fighters in the sport....a huge step, while there are other contender's doing things the traditional hard way. Working their way up a long ladder.

Chavez jr sells, he's a popular fighter....similar situations have happened before, and will keep happening through these corrupt governing bodies.

One thing is for sure though, i follow the junior bandwagon...so if he get's his shot...i'm behind him. Don't blame the fighter....if you guys were in jr's position, you'd take the fight too.

what has chavez ever done to deserve recognition? Outside of being living sprem of a great champion. Chavez has zero significant wins now gets aligned for title shots. Boxing is a joke anymore run by promoters with no integrity. Chavez is a bum and overrated.

Pacquiao tries to fight all the best fighters .... look hard to fight someone when they run like mayweather is. Hands down you gotta give pac credit he stomped all the champs up to where he is.
