          Your Thread FAILED BADLY!

it is absolutely no type of connection between the two bouts, seems like your are just trying to get people to accept this fight and it is not going to happen and it has nothing to do with Pacquiao it has a lot more to do with Margarito

But I just don't think he is at tune up status right now..

We can argue technicalities, activity level and such.

But regardless, Margarito is no tune up.

Gary Lockett is a tune up.
Margarito was good for a couple of reasons but those reasons could all potentially be gone or diminished. An aging pressure fighter that is disgraced comming off a long layoff is to me not an overly threatening proposition.

Therefore a tune-up or a stay busy fight bascially the same with any other fights that lack risk or danger that people ***** about constantly.

the idea of someone moving up more than a division to battle the bad guy which peoples ****s in his mouth even he wasnt fightn for a while was just an amazing feeling.
decent promotion, but the warrior make it a great one.

but all of us know deep inside that a counterpuncher cant beat the defense master. we know both are p4p, not strictly staying at one division that time, but the weight difference was also huge.

great fight, even it was a mismatch

everybody wants the little man to beat the bigger one, thats our natur.
in this case everybody want to see the p4p king make a statment on the cheater.

I was more excited to see Marquezs fight than seeing what can do Margarito after his 1 year hole and without the unkown plaster, but also a very good fight, even its seems to be a missmatch. also it can be turned competive.

              lookin forward to this fight

there absolutely is since the majority of people who keep talking about this fight and putting it down or Mayweather fans. I'm simply stating that they have no room to talk.. and they DONT. Mayweather has taken on soft competition as Pacquiao is, even though Pacquiao's competition is more of a threat. So there is a connection and you can make comparisons.

                  It's a fine perspective.

c'mon man... jmm had no business fighting floyd at 147 lbs. Yes, JMM did come looking for an ass-whupping (which he deserved).... but the least floyd could've done was fight JMM at 144 lbs. That means JMM/Floyd was just a tune up and was a garbage fight... and what makes it especially sad is that even though Floyd outweighed JMM by around 10-15 lbs... he still couldn't KO a blown up lightweight!!!
