    Well?

ATG Puncher? Average Puncher? Overrated Power? Underrated Power?

Peter is very strong, and his punches have a lot of power behind them. Way above average. But he doesn't have the speed or snap on them (or the best technique for that matter) to make him an ATG.

I wouldn't base Sam Peter's punching power off knocking Wlad down once legitimately. Peter hasn't EVER knocked out a top 10 heavyweight with a chin. He didn't even knock out glass jawed Maskaev! Dude finished on his feet!

Peter is an above average puncher, but it is painfully obvious when he gets in there with someone good he can't deliver. (Chambers had no problem walking through his punches.)

Very strong puncher, reminiscent of Shavers. Not the greatest speed or technique but generates tremendous power from his stocky build and powerful midsection. One of those fighters who can stun you with glancing blows. Has the potential to one shot KO guys, but tends to stun you and then batter you into submission with a series of clubbing punches.

Exactly how I feel about his power. It's more brute force than the traditional snapping your punch as soon it lands. He throws it as if he wants to punch thru ur face instead of snapping it back. I dont think its the hardest in the HW but its sure damn well up there.
