Upcoming showtime fights? Is this "offer" worth it?

Boy am I lucky*, it seems this offer ends later today, I asked if it was possible to get showtime only for a short period during big fights (as someone here suggested), but apparently that won't happen cause my cable company is run by greedy asses. The lady did mention a special offer where I would pay a monthly fee of $6.99 as opposed to $11.99 for 3 to 6 months.

I can cancel after 3 months, or stick with the offer the full 6 months after which I would either choose to pay full price or more likely cancel it altogether. Please mention some upcoming showtime fights besides the obvious ones. On a second thought, feel free to mention the obvious ones too.

Overall, what do you think, yay or nay?

PS. Damn you Juanma, look at what youre making me go through.

U got juanma vs marquez in nov, i believe the quarterfinals of the super 6, the start of the bantamweight tournament, Antonio Tarvers debut at heavy weight in Oct and a couple of Shobox: Next Generations show. So not bad for $6.99 a month. I also believe their trying to get another fight on the undercard for the Juanma fight.

      Dude, definitely a "yay"

I get HBO and Showtime for 12.99/month permanently because I used the problems we had with our cable service as a bargaining chip.

But as far as Showtime goes, hell yes subscibe. Not only are there good fights coming up but the new season of Dexter is about to start, and Weeds just started.

Dexter is probably the best show going on TV and I know quite a few people who subscribe to Showtime for that alone.
